Skate Nation Ghana is a collaborative production between Love Song Films and Monkey Films. This short tells the story of Joshua and Sandy and how they used Facebook’s platform to build an emerging skateboarding culture in Ghana.

In this production, members of XCIV, Luke Bell and Shawn Ogulu worked alongside Skyhook in the filming of the drone content for the TVC. Following the director’s vision, Luke modified an FPV drone to perform a world first; flying a DV camera on an FPV drone. This brought an authentic old school skateboarder feel to a new age piece of technology.

After a 5-day shoot production in Ghana with many moving parts, the final result  was screened at the 2020(2021) Tokyo Olympics.
