SONY FX3 LAUNCH
As Sony Alpha ambassadors, we sometimes receive ground-breaking gear before it comes out.
So, when SONY told us about the features of a new camera, we knew it was a perfect opportunity for us to showcase our love of gear, rigging, and creativity.
Our excitement grew as we realised that this camera was the then-unannounced SONY FX3 a camera that would soon join the FX6, FX9 and VENICE, completing SONY's legendary pantheon of cinema line cameras.
When asked how we could showcase the new features, we knew exactly what to do. We focused on showing that it is small but mountable, as well as smart yet rugged.
As a team that loves rigging cameras in places we’ve been told we shouldn’t, upon hearing about the FX3, we immediately thought of new places to put a cinema camera and the wonderful machines we could pair it with.

The concept of our video as simple as the question, "Can you keep up?” Can the SONY FX3 keep up as we follow a cyclist going from prep to climb and from climb to summit. As our cyclist’s speed increases, so does the complexity of the rigs we use to follow him.
From a gimbal rig, to a remote controlled car, a tracking rig on a bike to, finally, an FPV drone, we took this camera above and beyond to show that it truly can keep up.
Our team pushed the SONY FX3 to the limit, ultimately creating an energetic piece that showcased the best of this camera and the best of our abilities, highlighting how creativity can take you to crazy new heights.
