With Drones more and more capturing the South African publics imagination, ABSA as one of the nation's key technology leaders is perfectly poised to combine this rising technology with South Africas favourite sport.
A Night To Remember
Given the first of its kind nature of this delivery, Step Above and its creators will be there to capture the night from all angles. This as Step Above will not only facilitate the drone delivery but also fly a chaser drone capturing the trophy along its entire journey.
This footage can be used in not only the live broadcast on the day but also a behind the scenes mini-documentary chronicling the challenges and triumph experienced while attempting to achieve such a feat.

Drone Light Show
Step Above will oversee the logistics and legality of the trophy delivery, ensuring that the flight is safe, legal and precise.
After Movie
An after event movie capturing the drone delivery by foot and by air as well as snippets of the days match itself.
BTS Documentry
A mini-documentary short chronicling the journey of the delivery from concept to execution.
The Fleet
The biggest challenge of this project is finding and flying a drone capable of lifting the required 15kgs.
Thankfully with the ALTA X (as seen on the left) we are able to easily and safely lift this load.
The next challenge is capturing the event it's self and for that, Step Above will utilise the Inspire 2 with X7. As a result, Step Above can not only provide a live aerial feed to broadcasters but also record the night in beautiful 6K.
